At the annual conference in February in Nairobi 2010, the ESA BMO Network identified four new policy issues to be the focus areas for the Network throughout 2010. For each of the four identified policy issues a working group was established to work intensively with the issues for the rest of the year. This included three Network meetings at the regional level, complemented by individual research at the national level.
